WVPT announces a Photo contest for the Students this summer! Grab your cameras and head to the Shenandoah National Park between now and August of 2009. Capture the beauty of the environment and show off your photography skills! Click here for details.

GUIDELINES:

Contest is open to students in the following age groups:

Juniors – 9 years to 14 years old
Seniors – 15 years to 18 years old

• Contest begins June 10, 2009 and runs through August 15, 2009
• All photography should be taken within the Shenandoah National Park
• All entries must include application form filled in COMPLETELY
• All entries should conform to:
Size – 8 1/2” X 11” or smaller, without mattes or frames
Enhancement – NONE – no Photoshop or other computer alterations
Categories – Scenery OR Nature
• Judging will take place August 26 – September 1, 2009
Decisions of judges will be FINAL. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place and Honorable Mention awards will be made in each category.
Winners will be contacted by WVPT. Winning photos will be matted by WVPT and displayed at various places along
Skyline Drive throughout October 31, 2009. All entries will be returned to owners.
